How do you think medium gold dots would look in an Opal Fluidium?
Your choises are HARD!
I have really thinned out my collection over the last year. I am down to the jems.
I have an Opal in need.
It will be a centerpiece lamp.
Hey man! Been a while since I jumped on, busy busy, think I will be back more often now though! I thought I would drop a note to say I snagged a Marantz 6100 table at thrift today for $10! The belt has disintegrated but the drive motor definitely spins. Ordered a belt off ebay and have hopes that this beauty will replace my Sansui in the living room! Cherry piece, all original in excellent shape, even has the original 45 adapter! Will get pics when I get it all set in place, hope all is well! -Nick

resolution sucks but at least you have an idea then. are you on this wonderfull new forum for people all around the world and ...I think its called facebook or so...if so you could look for a page called Laut & Höbsch, thats a page where I post some of the things I make if you'd like to see some. most things are just prototypes with only basic functions or just a piece of acrylic glass with two lasers and a motor glued onto, but thats what you get when you wake up at 4am with an idea in your head and the urge to see if it works :) With regards to the uv laser I would love a diode including resistor featuring a standart jack so I can attach basicly any kind of power source without worrying about voltages etc.
Hey thanks for the quick answer. can you gibe me a link for uv lasers? I do know that show lasers can create the moving wall effect easiely, what I'm after is just this effect as a standalone and most importantly: analog and not programmed...if I can make the same effects a show laser produces by pulling levers and and pushing knobs on a selfmade "keyboard" I'm happy :) I make deco on psytrance parties and my aim is to make people think it must be made with a pc but in fact its a mirror and a candle through a prism ...or a glass door of a washing mashine an uv led and a kaleidoscope...like this one
hey, I really love your lasers! are you able build your own ones and write programms for them? I'm asking coz I'm developing a mini laser unit myself which is basicly just a small green and red laser diode aiming at a small rotating cube with mirrors attached to. when turned on you end up with some sort of half circular permanent level of laser light but its not moving, its just there and when you put it against a wall and add some glycerine e cigarette type smoker thingies you can create womderful waterfalls of smoke just a few cm away from your wall...ergo...with some more of those its possible to create an illusion of moving walls all around you...which would kick ass...what do you think...or does that already exist? I will upload one or two pics to my page, so if you like have a look. oh and are there ultra violet lasers? Cant find them but I had one in my hands on some festival and nooo it wasnt the acid playin tricks, it was able to activate phosphorescent stuff
