"normaly them bases fall out easy, you could put a duster cloth or something like that scrunched up and then tap a bit harder going around the inner base on the Bakelite part, wouldnt recommend getting a screw driver on the outside it end up damaging…"

"you can buy a "goo" lava kit which u can refill it from the u.s, or buy a mathmos astro bottle and transfer the new contents into your old bottle, but you will find that the new bottles have less contents so will be about 1cm lower liquid…"

"that i couldnt say, as back in the day mathmos ( like now ) glued the caps on, i spose you could wrap sticky tap around the cap/neck area if ya sending the bottle, but for normal use aka sitting on the base blobbing cant see it needing gluing…"
