My First Lava Lamp was:: large lava lamp, but is very cloudy, I have cleaned the outside but the inside of the glass is terrible and I want to clean it!

At 12:39pm on February 28, 2009, Modulo '70 said…: oh my gosh, I have a lamp like that, a green wax jet with a persistent 'lava smudge' against the glass which won't budge. I've read of guys here literally decanting the master fluid, carefully removing the lava into a separate container and scrubbing out the vase. Before you return the fluid and wax you should ensure the vase is perfectly clean and dry. A bit risky perhaps. Speak to Bohdan who is the lava master and expert on these thing/probems.
