"Thanks for that, Mark! I had no idea. Great story about selling lamps on-line back in the day. I remember visiting this site back in the late 90's but never actually registered until 2009. Thanks again for keeping it going through the years!"

Brad replied to Zachary's discussion HELP! white stuff in wax?
"ok if it's stationary, i'd leave it be, especially given how nice the flow is. the process of cleaning it from the globe may cause other issues like cloudy fluid."

Brad replied to Zachary's discussion HELP! white stuff in wax?
"great flow on that lamp for sure! it seems to happen to lamps that are stored for a long time. at least in my experience. i don't think it will affect the flow, but it may start breaking off and entering the wax. i am not entirely sure. does it…"

Hi Brad, do you know if most people get there bases from Lava Lite? As far as large glass globes go, it's determined by how thick the wall of the tubing and diameter is to begin with. You can certainly get a hold of it. But I don't have a big enough torch at present. It may be possible with an insulated oil drum to retain the heat around the torch. If you think it's what the buyers want it's worth considering..
