I recently took part in the BOGOF Offer that Mathmos are doing on their red blue Aduki lamps. However one of them refused to charge.
I told them and they sent a replacement, which does charge.

"Got mine this week and have tried it in my telstar. The liquid is a very pale blue with standard pink wax. Its quite nice, the blue makes the pink go purpley.
All I can say is its not strikingly different just a different colour combo.

When it seems to get a bit hot I just turn the dimmer down a bit.Also changing the bulb from a 30w to a 25w has some success but tends to overheat at about 4hrs.And what about vice versa? Unfortuneately your ebay astrobaby is most likely and looks like a faded original blue green. It also looks like some of the wax has separated, so may also be problematic. "
