Something Interesting About Me:
I'm been a high school Chemistry teacher for ten years. I love trying new and exciting labs, making things blow up, change color, catch on fire, etc. In my spare time I sing with a group of girls, coach volleyball, ride dirtbikes, and play with my dogs and cats.

Hello and welcome to Oozing Goo the world's number 1 web site for lava lamp enthusiasts and collectors!

There are plenty here with knowledge about building lamps from scratch. I hope you get some useful tips.

Sincere regards

Thanks! I'm not sure how this all works, but I wanted to find a lab sheet or procedures for making a lava lamp. I read the one for Retro, and that sounds like something my Honors Chem kids could do, but I'm not sure how to "build" a lamp.... I need something simple and affordable for all my students or for me to purchase. I can get the chemicals, no problem.
Is this site only about lava lamps?
