"If you get the msr be aware that there is two filters for it. One is a bit finer and takes out some more chemicals then the other which isnt good for the lamp to make sure to get the one with bigger pores."

I'm a huge Beatles fan who loves the vibe of Lava Lamps.
My First Lava Lamp was:
I got my first lava lamp in the late 80's when I was getting into the Beatles. It was a blue water white wax lava light. I've since destroyed it with lack of knowledge of care and adding WAY too much food coloring to it when it faded...

Was the PUR filter you used to filter the lamps a 1, 2, or three stage ?

It appears there are three different filters that can be used with the same water pitcher.
