Chicago-Based Lava Lite Celebrates Inauguration of Windy City Resident Barack Obama as Nation’s 44th President with Commemorative Lamp
The old timers may remember the Christmas Poetry Contest we ran for a few years back in 1999, 2000 and 2001. Well, it's time to dust off that Thesaurus! Let's have a little fun competition for the best lava lamp related poem or short story honoring this year's Hollow's Eve.
Since we switched over to the social network version of Oozing Goo, I have placed a "donate" button on the site to help offset the hosting costs associated with the new setup. I'm happy to say that we've recieved 8 total donations in 8 months, ranging from $10.00 to $50.00. The donations were made by 6 members so far. Thanks guys! As a little recognition for their generosity, I have started an…Continue

So I just loaded that little box on the right, appropriately called "Who's Online". Pretty cool, huh? You ask, and I shall deliver - if the stars align and I know how to... ;-)

Not sex, not drugs, not rock and roll (well maybe a little.) If you can write about lava lamps then everyone is happy and nobody gets hurt. So bring on your ideas! What new…Continue

As Dr.WHAT? pointed out, the release of the new line somehow slipped under our collective radar. How'd 'dat happen?!? Unlike other new product releases by LW, this time there was no press release which seems particulraly strange considering these lamps are among the…Continue
Welcome to the new Oozing Goo! For the past 2 months, I've been secretly working on a new community version of OG.
Why a new site? Because OG is truly a community; There are so many great lava lamp devotees in this group that can share far more info in this revamped site. Every member can have your own page, right here at OG, where you can share pictures, write a blog, start a group, add friends and much more.
Take a look around and enjoy!
Hope you like…Continue
