Hi, everyone.  I sometimes see Lava's for sale and the cap has been unscrewed for whatever reason.  When is the correct time to tighten the cap? When the oil & lava are cold or when the oil is hot and the lava is flowing full force? Thanks

Thanks Hugh, Thanks for responding. Ya been and on the internet. Best of them all has been oozinggoo.com. I haven't been able to find the ratio of water/antifreeze to wax/perk though. I found one reference to filling the container with 85% water/antifreeze mix. Do you then fill 15% with wax/perk mix? Roger

Hello all: Well I just rescued a Motion & Glitter Model #6800 from my friends basement. I need help to get it working. It's empty so I'll need a lot of help. I guess my first question is the ratio of water/antifreeze to wax/perk.Thanks for any help you can give.
