Yay! We got back from Atlanta with them a little while ago. :)
Damn things wound up costing an extra SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS.
I think we got fleeced on that...it was like having to buy them twice...once in China, and once in the US.
But I'm still not going to charge more than I said I was, I'm just not going to be able to do this again probably. The only thing that really annoys me is that they KNEW we were new, and that we would be facing these charges...they said nothing. If you were planning on having anything imported from China, be very careful and learn from my mistakes. It's going to cost WAY more than you think it will (or SHOULD, for that matter). I think it might be a racket...I really think they ripped us off. :(
BUT ANYWAY...the lamps are here! I already opened one and made it a gorgeous orange. :D Yay!
More pictures later!
nice pickup .....truck....that is
Yes they did rip you off and it was intentional. The Chinese are very aware of new buyers and will take advantage of them every time.
Well thats one way to trandsport lamps.
I recken they ripped you off as you got a low number - it dosent go down well when they are geared to make lodes of them.
Well done for getting them, hopefully your next shipment wont be as costy or as much hasel.
Awesome! Congrats! I will definitely buy one. :)
Can't wait for the pics.
