Fluidium knock-off

"Hello. It's a old post but was there ever an answer to the question where this giant "knock-off" Fluidum is from? I just bought a used one and I'm curious to know who made it. Thank you and cheers from Switzerland. Danny"

Profile Information

Something Interesting About Me:
I'm into 60s and 70s designs and furniture. I love spage age style, ball chairs, egg chairs, the garden egg, nice lamps - and lava lamps. I collect Blythe dolls (one of them is my avatar), some other vintage dolls with a weird twist and have a tendency to clutter with nice 60s decoration. I occasionally sew and crochet for my dolls and customize them.

I was kind of actively collecting lava lamps about 10 years ago when I aimed at getting at least one of each Mathmos lava lamps available at that time, and only just now I realised that there are a few new nice versions worth to buy again. I want to get a white Astro Baby and one of those candle fuelled small rockets. I just got one of those giant Fluidium knock-offs (nontheless pretty cool) a few months ago and a Grande, which finally a German seller offers. As it arrived a little cloudy or hazy I was looking at solutions online and stumbled upon this site (hey! ). Wish I'd known this back in my collecting days already! Apart from that Grande problem I kind of accidentally got a bargain Giant a few days ago, which is crystal clear and pretty amazing. So, I'm a bit hooked on lava lamps again.
Where I Live:
at home
My First Lava Lamp was:
a cheap blue supermarket lava lamp given to me by my parents when I was a teenager - I enjoyed it for a couple of years though before it clouded up and ended up in the bin.
My Collection Includes this many Lava Lamps:
about 20
My Favorite Lava Lamp is:
probably a white Jet with a Jetstream and the Lunar
