Something Interesting About Me:
Oh...I'm just an imperfect Siddha with a love for all things retro (and by 'retro', I mean the 60's/70's...but I have a place for the 80's too), British,
India, psychedelia, music, Halloween/Samhain (my birthday!!), ITC/Brit Cult television (particularly, PARTICULARLY Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) ), pool/billiards/snooker, old school fighting, puzzle, and role-playing video/computer games, and of course, all that is Lava/Glitter. Oh, and blacklights too...as a matter of fact, if you are daring enough to visit my MySpace and its picture albums, you'll see the fruits of my blacklight painting/art hobby. ;)

BTW, please don't be offended if I do not personally respond back to all comments left here...they are all very much appreciated. :)
My First Lava Lamp was:
I'll do my best...it was at least ten, if not twelve years ago...I was only around thirteen years old, and my family and I were visiting Myrtle Beach. At one of the many malls there, was a Spencer's-like store selling Lava Lamps. Having always been wanting a Lava Lamp, I, needless to say, begged the pants off of my folks to let me get one. It took around thirty minutes to an hour, but they finally broke down and let me and my brother each have a Lava Lamp...a blue liquid and green-yellow lava/midnight base for me and a clear/magenta midnight for my bro.

Unfortunately, I have no idea what happened to my first ever lamp. :( My brother kept his until the family move from North Carolina to the mountains of the Virginias. Wish he had kept it (and I'd kept mine), given that, being high quality 90's lamps, they would be quite the compliment to my small collection (the oldest and most classic lamp I do have being a 2002 silver Starship with a blue/white globe).

For the Love of Mike... (In Memorium, 1931-76)

Getting in a shameless plug for a friend of mine's website devoted to the one entertainer I can safely deem a 'hero' and muse of mine to some extent, Mike Pratt, with whom I became familiar through his playing Jeff Randall on Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased).

"If you can't take a joke, you shouldn't have joined." - Mike, as quoted by his son, Guy, in My Bass and Other Animals.

Hey about the Doc (Who). Yes, Tom Baker was my favourite too followed by Jon Pertwee. They were the 4th and 3rd 'Doctors' respectively.

I remember Mike Pratt from the Randall and Hopkirk tv show days which i loved and always thought he was such a cool guy. It's a great shame he left us so soon.
