"I used a nightlife tealight when mine was cold but a standard tealight other times is yours like the rocket one or the cylinder one if it's the cylinder type the room it's in must be hot to use with any good flow "

"Hi it flows ok when the room it's in is warm or hot but if it's cold then I use a nightlite tealight which is twice the size of a standard tealight otherwise it flows just like a normal lava lamp "

"Purple is tricky. It  usually shows up red/Magenta when in direct lamp light and as it floats becomes purple again"
