Nice!  How close is the bulb to the base?  I'm curious about using the socket extenders.

The bulb almost, (if not) touches the base of the globe. It runs about 8 hours without over heating. However I don't know the long term affect it will have on the newer wax...

That's awesome, Trevor.  I'm gonna' do it to my Watermelon neon.  The flow reminds me a little of Giant flow.  Thanks for posting this -- I appreciate your creative ideas!
