Nice score Vox!!!  It goes perfect with the colors in the room!!  Really gives them a pop with the green.  I'm usually not a green person, but certain greens I do like.  That's like a nature's green.  I like the neon greens as well.

I had always tempted an ebay bid on this type lamp but never in the green.  They usually have insane starting bids or would just bid out higher than I wanted to pay.  Saw this beaut plugged in and churning, SOLD! The fluids are in good shape and have not evaporated at all that I can tell. It just casts a mystical look from across the room.

I have noticed that once in a while, when you click it on, the impeller inside will rattle a bit but it is hit or miss that it makes noise.  I am wondering if anyone has opened one up to grease gears/sprockets or anything to quiet it down.

Please chime in if you have any tips or tricks. I would like to add a bit more food glitter/airbrush flake to give the peal effect a tiny bit more pop.

That is too bad man!  I had liked them back in the day but never had one.  Spotted it from across the room and snagged it up!  Has a little damage on one of the bulb sockets but can be fixed with epoxy. Green was my first choice and next would be that purple you had!

I have always had that fear with my plasmas too Analog. Especially the rather top heavy Raiden lightning.

Would be cool if it changed colors as it ran.

That would be cool Max! I could see a mod project being clear pearl fluid and down pointing LEDs in the top of the cylinder that change!  Excellent idea Max!

Wow, that would be cool!!!  I bet that could be done somehow!!!

That's really awesome, I haven't seen a lamp like this on the market before, where did you get it? I work with fluids used in these lamps, but never built a lamp like this yet.

I picked mine up at an antique mall about two months ago Rayos, it also came in blue and purple. Mine makes a rattle from time to time when I click it on, Turn it off a couple times usually clears it out, also changes the impeller direction randomly.

VOX, do you know the company that made it?
