So excited Kirk! I had checked my Clearview lastnight and tried to put a Princess globe on it (I think they are 32oz too) and the older Lava Lite globes seem to be more conical and it didn't rest perfect in the clearview base. Almost like the Clearview globe is squashed down just a little bit.  Not sure if you will be sending a similar vessel to an older Lava Lite from the 90's or a newer China type globe (If there is such a difference).  If anything, I have a spare black base similar to the princess that runs a 40w if it doesn't like the Clearview.

This formula will definitely like that black base, and the extra heat from the 40W bulb, Nick.  I hope it works on the Clearview, but good to hear you have a backup.
