Weird, it kind of looks like glitter inside the lava but I guess it's air bubbles!!!!  What a trippy lamp!!!

That does look pretty damn sweet!  Imagine if you were able to get a fine glitter suspension going on in that wax!  It would be like molten versions of those marbles!

yeah, like give it an injection with a hyperdermic needle or something, lolololol!!!  I'm not messing with that lamp!!  I'm not even cracking the top anymore......my luck i'll do something else to it and it won't be clear anymore...i'm kind of digging it's funk!!!

I would leave it sealed up too.  Runs good and the gel look of the wax is awesome!

can glitter be added to wax? i was thinking about doing that if i got a kit

Don't think so.  I believe it was tried b4 and the glitter just sank to the bottom of the globe.  Too heavy I guess.  But I'm not really sure.

Mathmos has a formula that has glitter and wax together, but home hobbyist have not been able to duplicate it that we know of.

I was gonna say that.  The glitterball's.  Do they still sell them new Keith, or is that a lamp that has to be bought preowned?

I'm pretty sure those are discontinued.

well what if you tried like really cheap glitter that maybe isn't too heavy? i'm sure walmart or something has some really cheapo glitter
