I meant the top half, thanks.
I've seen this before. Many years ago.
I think it looks bloody awful, what a waste of a nice lamp.
I think it looks awful as well Ladee, like you say; it's a waste of a nice lamp.
I would have it but that lamp shade definately needs changing!
It's mine...oh yes it will be mine!
Hope you grab it, Alpha. That's one seriously rare lamp. That's one of the few odd types that was actually made in all three of the major vintage lamp-producing regions: USA (Lava-Simplex GemLamp and cheap early-00s Lava table lamps), UK (Crestworth Mk. 1 & Mk. 2 glitter lamps), and France (so far I've only seen a rectangular one, I believe Bryin refilled it with lava). And all of 'em are hyper rare!
Yup, rare as hen's teeth. I've got the French version, and the other UK Crestworth lamp. The US "Gemlamp" version is even rarer ( I've never seen one, other than a picture of one in a US gift catalog).

I've attached a few pictures of the other known varieties.

Ahh, sorry Fog, it was you who has the French one. Can you put a pic of it in lava form up here? The white/pink refill and the awesome smoked acrylic shade boost its already phenomenal mod factor into the stratosphere!

Someone on here HAS a GemLamp and posted a photo, a year or so ago. Can't remember who.
Nice pics Fog..Cheers
