Goo Kits

The 52oz are US Purple, Blue, and Red, but the outside too are Goo Kits obviously. LOVE the shade the orange turned out!!

Comment by Wile E. Coyote on February 17, 2011 at 6:04pm: Yep that's the link. I just cleaned my springs with the regular soap and watch, and gave then a good gentle scrub. You just wanna make sure you get all the toxic stuff off. When I did my grande's, I let them run until everything is melted, and just poured it out. Nothing stuck to the globe or anything. Soar and water, and a scrub brush worked great for me. Made 3 so far, and so far so good!

my old globe have been lying down for some years with the wax and liquid in it, so it made a track and the lamp didnt work after that, what is best to use to clean it off? soap doesnt do it, it seem like...

i read somewhere that the spring in the bottom have to be primed first, hov does you do that?

Comment by Wile E. Coyote on February 17, 2011 at 1:43am: Thanks. It's really a great orange in person. Just search ebay for "goo kit" and it will come up. You'll also have to order the orange dye. I used almost all of it in the melted wax. Search his other items for the different dyes and such. It's simple to do, just make sure you clean the globe VERY well before starting. You'll probably need a lower wattage bulb, or a dimmer. The new goo gets going a lot quicker.

I have a Grande that has cloudy blue liquid and yellow lava. I want to filter it. I also have a Grande that I want to replace the liquid and use surfactant from Magma Tower. And lastly one that needs a complete lava/liquid replacement with the ebay goo kit from Magma Tower. Any info you or anyone here can give me as to what lava/liquid and filtering techniques I should try is greatly appreciated! Thanks

Comment by Wile E. Coyote on December 20, 2010 at 12:42am: It's somewhere between blue and purple. I had ordered it about 6 months ago, and just got around to doing it a month ago or so. It's a really killer shade. Like a lighter navy blue with a purple tinge to it. The clarity of the water on them both is still amazing!! Nothing quite like it!
