Chrome 52z bases

I have begun to set up a few 52z bases as chrome in color and shine. I have seen the 20z bases
and they do nothing for me at all . This will take a 7 day cure when done will post pictures of them
with matching globes here is a pic of them before the last coating and cure .
When done they will have on the Red chrome a red liquid white lava. Blue chrome blue liquid white lava. Green chrome green liquid white lava. Purple chrome lavender liquid white lava.

Wow, i never knew that you painted those 52oz i thought they were from a store, as they are so perfect - you should do this professionally - they are so absolutely perfect! - Congrats Bohdan.

I while ago i use to paint Motor Bikes. With metal flake and designs in the Gas
tanks and frames. The first most important thing i learned was the prep of the
metals before painting. I use to work on vintage BSA and Trident British bikes
They were and in my eyes the coolest bikes ever and Master craftsmanship that ever was.

I have finished my orange bases. One i have drilled to be a Aristocrat type base this one also has my
custom orange lava with orange liquid. The other has a USA white lava/orange liquid. It is nice working
on china bases at least the bases are still made well as can be. I have a picture of them.

Wish me luck! I just ordered the red, blue, purple, and green paints from Amazon's site. At $5.99 per can and only $6 and change for shipping, might be a worthwhile investment. Did you use the spray sealer as well? Cheers, Kelly.

Only if the base is not shiney or all messed up . But you have to really clean it good
and then use rubbing alcohol to get all residue of the base . The spray sealer is for an
non looking silver base and does not bring up the Chrome finish as would if the metal is
shiney already. I sprayed mine on a bare shine base as is after cleaning it very well.
Now when done let the base sit for about 5 days before final assembly. The paint well
become hard and heat proof up to 500 degrees. I used a round sponge inside the base to
give it a inner ring look. Good luck . If you have not used this paint before try it on a cheap
base to get some practice before the final spary on the good base.

I started on a project about 2 weeks ago so far i have done the Giant bases and am working on the refill
of matching liquid and lava for the Bases . One will have a ring of Blue lights around it that will glow with
the 100w Bulb will keep all informed on the out come . To me the Grande and even the Giant Bases in silver have become to boring for me. So i have begun to do a full custom top to bottom to match the 52z
Chrome ones i have. Even the AC cords will be white. If i do it just right one will even have a glass ring
table around it i found the right size glass for it and a stainless outer ring for the glass for it to sit on now
if i only cut it right to center.
