Crestworth Cannon

In all the years of collecting lamps i have only seen 2 cannons one that i have and one that
Johnuk1 has. They are very rare and very fragile soooo few exist today. The wheels turn
and the cannon body moves up and down. The bands on the cannon move so you can select a time frame for the lava as it flows thru a little hole in the top. I noticed that one way it moves faster then the other way. About 5 min per band as in pic. If the temp in the house is cooler the longer it will take because of the liquid lava. Total time for it to go thru
is 15 min. If i use it the other way back it is about 3min per band. This is a well worth item
for any Crestworth collector out there.

The glass tube is 8" long and 1- 1/8" in diameter The wheels are 2 - 3/4" in diameter and turn
Total length is 9- 1/2" It has a copper finish on it that can be polished so it will really shine.

The glass is very delicate. So as the years have gone by only a few are left. It is nice that you
took the time to have it like new again . A very important part of Crestwoth history.

Where did you two get yours? Approximately how much did they go/are they going for? These are probably my very most favorite lamps I have ever seen. Waaaaayy cool.

Cheers,
Jen P.

I got mine from a friend and seller in the UK about 2 years ago . They go for about 100 to 200 quid if not
higher it all depends on the buyers.
