Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I can't explain why, but I think I'm recovering.

I don't search on the web like crazy for Crestworth lamps anymore.

I used to spend a huge amount of time researching lamps on the web.

But now I'm done.

I guess it's because I've got pretty much everything I wanted (I'm still after a colossus).

I'm still running my lamps, still love them, but I don't want more of them, and I even may sell some soon.

What a relieve!

I'm free :-)

Nice place to be Astrolav.

I'm about at critical mass now.... a chrome Astrolamp base/cap, a Living Jewel and I will be there too.

There's always new or better flowing globes though !

I've not lost the "fever," Astro and Pete, just out of room!!   As Pete said though, there's always room for my extra globe "stash."

... and they collect dust Libby... lol

I've got enough dust up here on this moutain to send a box to everyone on here anyway, Pete!!   LOL   I'll put em in a cabinet or something!

Surfaces Ma'm.... nice shiney surfaces.... lol...lol...lol.

I don't know if I lost the "fever", it just happens one day I find myself not searching for lamps like a crazy anymore.

I was ill, now I'm cured.

Is it better? Yes it is!

It may sound less passionate, and more rational, but I enjoy what I've got more than before.

Well, I must admit I'm so much in love with my Living Jewel Lunar, that I may want to make another bottle one day.

That would be a sign of a deep relapse (I'll let you know, of course ;-) )

Pete, apparently I can't even spell mountain.......DUH.   Reckon I should hire a "maid?"   I wish.......lol

Astra, I love that Lunar Living Jewel too!   I get ashamed to post pics of my lamps anymore with all these rare lovelies on here.   ;-)     I think you need to make another one and send it to Tennessee.  ;-))

Aww.."Tell us about it Janet"... LOL.

Your mountain Libby... I google'd earth La Fayette.

The inland waterways you have, oh my gosh, I would be in my element exploring them.

Your state is bigger than my country... beggars belief really.

You know I won't ;-)

This beauty is unique right now, and even if 2 exist if I do another one, I will not risk a shipping.

It takes too much time and money to make one like this.

What I can do, is to try to post a picture of the actual lamp which is now in "emerald" color.

Really beautifull, but so hard to capture on picture (looks turquoise instead).

I would love to be able to share this lamp with everybody here, because it looks so much better in real.

Unfortunately, cameras can't render what our eyes can see :-(

I guess you have to visit me in Paris to see the real effect of the lamp :-)

I knew you wouldn't, Astra, but one can "dream," eh?  ;-)    I know how you feel about our pics not doing the colors of the lamps the justice due them, and wish we could see all of them in person.

Oh yes,  I would dearly love to come to Paris and all over Europe, but that'll never happen either.  I do have two little metal statues of the Eiffel Tower though. LOL.  I love all those little architectural models of famous structures and buildings.

Hey, Libby, check the pic I just posted.

Far from the real lamp, but you'll get an idea ;-)

You Googled the wrong place, my dear Pete!!  LOL   It's spelled La Follette, and we are eaten up with lakes all over the place.  You would love it, and I love my northern part of our county with the mountains.  I'll PM you my address and Google Earth will show you our house.   I nearly fainted when my cousin sent it to me the other night.   Not sure I like everyone being able to see it!!    You can even see my husband's truck driving along the road below us!! EEEKKKK   Glad he wasn't taking a "pit stop!'   ROFLOL
