Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Anyone have any knowledge of this company?  I have a glitter lamp of theirs thats been in the garage forever, was originally purple fluid silver glitter but the color faded.  I dug it out this evening and put some red food color in and i think it looks pretty good.  Probably originally got it in the 90's but i am not certain.

A pic would help. I've not heard of the company.

A photo would help. Imported glitter lamps were marketed or "made by" countless names.

it stands 18" tall.  the globe locks into the base with a quarter turn or so.

It's a Hot Rock lamp, I love mine, all of them, best of the off brands I would say.

you might be right about best of the off brands.  i think i got this as a present from my mom.  i know i had it in my office at work for a long time, until it faded.  never occurred to me to revive it with food coloring until i joined this site.  like i said, it used to be purple but faded to completely clear over time.

I have both glitters and lava made by hot rock and love them all, they work like a champ but the lava run a bit hot.

Hot Rock did indeed make great glitters. Lavas, not so much.

so pretty! I scored a blue glitter of this same brand

I know this thread is old but does anyone know how to open these types? I just got mine today and the blue is okay but needs some oomph and I need it open
