I think I ruined this one by adding color to the liquid...dumb mistake...but maybe it's not too awful with brown liquid. LOL! I'll probably strain it out and replace it with clear fluid.

Hi Kim! All I'm really doing is importing glitter lamps from China, straining out the silver glitter from the fluid that comes in them, and replacing it with colored hexagonal glitter or custom shapes (or both). :)
Cool Glitter! I am new here :) Is there a section on how to re-do a glitter lamp? Thanks!
Thanks, everybody! :D I went ahead and changed out this liquid. I knew I wanted a tiny hint of blue, but adding a tiny drop of blue dye to the water was NOT the way to go...it turned the gold leaves green! It totally ruined the effect. So I tried to make it orange, and wound up making it purple/grey. LOL! It looks great in that picture because of the flash, but it really didn't look like that when it was running. It looks much more like tho other picture I posted. But now I've added clear liquid, and a touch of cerulean glitter. :) It is SO much better now!
Oh, and sorry lala! I Use craft punches and post-it-note tape stuff to get those shapes. It's a time-consuming process, and fairly annoying, but the results are worth it.
Excellent! Love the coloring.
I think it looks great. It's beautiful. :)
