Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

My attempt to imitate, with some of my own touches, the vibe of a certain old Crestworth ad. Drawn in Windows Paint (XP version).

Update: The pedestal model was the first version of the Nordic. Nordic was indeed its official name. That changed into the cone-based, Nordic, which in turn became the Jet-style Nordic. The Telstar came around then.

As I understand it (and I could be wrong) there wasn't an overlap on the cone-type Nordic and the flared Telstar. The pedestal- or Consort-type was an export model I've seen called the Cosmos but I don't know if that's a true model name. Now, the plastic-based Nordic, which became the Jet, I believe did overlap with the Telstar (flat cap) and Rocket (bullet cap) flared bases.

You mean the Nordic was no more available when they made the Telstar?

No Telstar. These models predate the Telstar, which followed the cone-base Nordic

Love the Wall Sconce imagery. So rare are these beauties.
