Thanks for the warm welcome Mr. Modulo.  Hopefully someone out there in Lavaland has an extra screw type cap to get my baby back running again.

Thank you! Such a kooky and wonderful website. Glad I stumbled onto it. The new teal wax lamp is certainly gorgeous. Water still a bit cloudy, but will run my lamp for a few days and see what happens. Really nice flow. After reading about changing the liquid, I'm getting excited to try one myself. Will have to learn more about the Goo Kit (?) Anyway, cheers!

Thank you very much for the advice :-)
I don't want to part with this lamp because it was once my parents & they have both passed away - it has much sentimental value to me that I just hope I can get a replacement bottle somewhere.

Seriously,It is true...I took my grandkids to the local shop to buy ice cream on a very hot day, we passed a small second hand /curio shop on the way, venturing inside I was instantly mesmerised by the beautiful (huge) grande Lava lamp, then she was mine.I dont regret it at all.I LOVE the thing. So from ice cream to Lava all in half an hour..who would have thought ?

Thanks for the welcoming! BC is rainy and green, as always haha. I have done a liquid replacement on my lava lamp, 3x now. Used just red coloring first, then just blue coloring, and now Ive tried for a violet with mixing blue and red. Looks more pink but still very cool. Thanks again and take care!

I have two, though they are not too functional now/wax separation I think ... Don't know the models .... got them a long time ago .... Haggerty Enterprises on Irving Park so it's "carbon tetrachloride " ? Don't know how to do the fix as the two will kinda work for awhile then one quits and the other has lots of 1" balls

Oh wow I will look it up on google. I need to refill my sata lite glitter light and think I am going to try using fusible fibres, but am not sure if this is the right thing to do. Do you have any experience in the glitter lamps ( hunter)
