the lamp on the left claude is the mystery lamp,  andy the fluid in the mystery lamp is monopropylene glycol and mathmos glitter squares, i got a 60 watt in it the start up is like the traditional mathmos then the flow is central movement, its pretty slow moving, i tried a 40watt but found it was leaving glitter around the bottom edge og the bottle, 6 hours on the bottle is warm not hot :-)  confess i had it on the flow with rug just incase it cracked etc
