Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I have a question I'm hoping someone here can help me out with.  I have all the LavaLite, Wizard glitter lamps and recently acquired a lot of lamps from a grandmother who used to work at Spencers. Within this lot is a very large base that reads Custom Base and top for Stardust or Aurora globes. The Seller handed me a box with a red glitter globe that we first assumed went with this base. I now know that the  globes not meant for the base and appears to be a custom globe for the Wizard line. Here's my question - the glitter in the custom LavaLite globe is much bigger than the glitter in the Wizard Globes as in the custom glitter globes have 1/4 inch flakes shaped like an octagons versus the Wizard globes are tiny and square shaped.  Doe's anyone have a clue what colors the custom globes came in?  I have red and gold right now.  I acquired the gold globe/ wizard base on Ebay years ago and thought it was a China knock off  since the glitter flake size did not match that is until I recently acquired this latest red globe in box and the caps on both globes matched. Caps are not pop off like bottle cap tops their sealed permanently.  I searched this site and found nothing about the two types of glitter globes sold by LavaLite. Anyone have additional info? Thank you.

Got to tell you

Thre is NOTHING standard when it comes to Wizards

I*t seems the constantly evo9lved over the years and LL switched the Manufacturer at some point

some have a turned top where the globe  sits, some do not

Some use cord restraint that require a metric size opending

Some bolt the base from the outside, some on the inside

Some glitter is mico small some is normal for the globe

Some blue glitter is dark are  some is light

It is a shooting match

Pictures would help.

The glitter globes used different glitter around 2002 before they moved production to China. They were large and octagon shaped.
