Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Was excited to find this black rocket delivered for the bargain price of $35......

When it showed up I had to laugh....

I had no idea that there was a mini rocket out there ?!?!?

very nice

My baby rocket globe needs a complete fluid swap and bottle scrub so I will post pics when I get her done.

Baby rockets are rare

There was a old LL distributor selling them a few years back but they went out of stock fast

Speaking of bargain Rockets, a friend of mine picked up a Crestworth Rocket, yes, Crestwoth all chrome bullet shaped Rocket at the local car boot sale today...£5. More to follow on his post. What a steal!

FYI -  Lava Lite did not make Rockets, they made Starships.

Crestworth made high end Rocket lamps before they became Mathmos.

I paid between $300-$450 each for mine years ago -

Love them

I was not sure if that is what Modulo was referring to

Yes, that is the one, c. 1993, one of the last Crestworths, the bullet shaped chrome Rocket (perhaps they should have called it the bullet). A magnificent high quality and very sought after lamp 25 years later.
