Mathmos are hand poured correct?I feel lucky to of found a metal lava that seems so far to look and flow as grand as these appear. I only asked of silver residue becuase I wonder what long term affect if any it will take on bottle.. I often swirl mine.. and even when cold tilt bottle to let air get in and around all of lava.. I dont want to think in time it could cook so to speak down there. Mine has the amazing ability to re group. A good stir will break it up easy but soon regenerates.I dont make it a habit of doing so mind you..but from mixing and pouring its quite obvious. Its also very bouncy when flowing.. when lava meets lava the ripple effects are fun to watch do yours perform in a similar manner ?. I see why the name liquid metal fits.

My metallics do have a silver residue on the bottom of the bottles (when cold) -

I'll have a look when they are flowing next!

This be the purple one I am speaking of ... compare this to my blue

The green metallic Mathmos I seen is as exact lava to my metallic... like I said.. really has sparked some curiosity..

Its amazing to me how similar this metallic lava seems to be to mine....

does yours seem to have silver residue on bottom of bottle even when full flow?

I am gonna mix one of my reds with left over part of the blue in hopes of a purple
