HAHA, way to go site lag... It seems I have stated the obvious due to chronology!

I think the the worry was since I used a liquid dye made by Peak Candle but I could be wrong.

MT tests their dyes to make sure they are color fast so no worries there.  Vox used Peak liquid dye so that's why I was wondering

Keith, out of all of the lamps I have kitted, the one thing that NEVER happened (aside from my streak problem, lol) is the dye leaching into the liquid!!  I've used blends, added the dye directly to the water, have used light and dark dyes, have used a load of it and then maybe not so much and still no leaching......even my dark, dark, red 20 oz that I kitted did not leach into the water.  I would not worry about that with the MT dyes.

They did turn out well Carol, you hit the ground running over there huh!

Keith, the wax still holds the original blue hue perfectly. No color has leached into the water and the color has not faded. I would say the only step I might cut out next time would be the glow powder as it seems to have settled out to the bottom of the wax and doesn't dazzle like I planned. It still holds a slight glow throughout with a subtle UV property but kind of a waste of cash for the payout.

Hey VOX, I was wondering if you've noticed any dye leakage from the wax to the water.  I'm thinking of getting some green dye to redo my green neon 52 oz and was curious.

Still a beautiful blue!!!  Don't feel bad, I always get the shiny reflection from the flash or from the daylight when I try to photograph mine!!!  You and your seam and me and my shine!!!  lololol!!  Still Vox, considering that I hear a lot of other members did have mixed results with their goo-kitting experiences, ours turned out pretty darn good!!!
