Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

0.125" red glitter squares in clear fluid. Took a while to make this one.The larger the globe the harder it was to balance the water density . I love how colored glitter shows in different shades of red, way cooler then silver glitter in colored water.

The ones I've done a couple years ago are still going strong, The glitter is a big factor though, you'd have to make sure you get solvent resistant glitter that will hold up against the corrosive fluid mix. I've find a lot of good glitters from etsy that is used for fingernail painting etc. that hold up great. If you do get bad glitter it usually wont last long in the fluid. The glitter pieces will just become clear plastic flakes.
