32 oz or 20?

This lamp is for sale 20 miles from my house, the lady that answered the phone stated that vthis one was made in china and that (she thinks) it is a 32 oz...when did Lava Lite stop making 32oz ones? \

I've got a pic the seller sent me, and I've got both a 20 oz and 32 oz on my desk and I'm leaning towards
this being in fact a 20oz?

Any tips to give me to figure this out, other than taking the 20 mile drive? I think I'd do it for a 32 oz not for a 20 oz...

It looks like a 20oz to me. Ask her how tall it is.. 20ozers are like 14.5 inches and 32ozers are 16.5 inches. LavaLite stopped making the 32ozers in the US at the end of 2002, they made them in China from 2003 till about 2008 or so and discontinued them.

I have looked through a few of these catalogs and it KILLS me that I got on this train so late. So many cool models in the (relatively) recent past.

I'm going to try and restrain myself to just the good ones at yard sales and Ebay/Craigs list, but that means being patient. Not something I'm very good at when I decide I want something...
Right now the Electric Planet is a little too rich for my blood, but I am weakening.

Why cant the US company get their sh*! together and put out a decent product. Heck, create a "signature line" that's made in the USA for the 52 and 250 oz models, and continue to sell the smaller cheap junk at Walmart and Target.

And the same people own the company...they just decided to outsource manufacturing to china a while back, right?
