I ended up here the first time through the link in my email. I don't know how I ended up here the second time. I had a bunch of times where I gave up because I couldn't find a link. When I see a message that you have left a message for me, I click it and end up at your profile or my profile. This is very frustrating. The most important factor needs to be addressed which may become a problem for others as the site progresses and more information added is that I can't tell which threads I have read. If I read a thread with a post and five replies, do I have to remember exactly how many replies there were; so that I know to check it again when it says six replies? The former system highlighted the threads where there was a new post that occurred after I had finished reading the thread to let me know that it was updated and to go check the thread out again. I can't keep track of that for every thread in each discussion group. If there isn't a way to do this, then that is a big problem. It would cost me too much time to go through every current thread in every forum (not to mention the groups) to check to see if any of them had a new post whcih I haven't read yet. If there is a way to view this, then please infrom me, before my patience is gone completely.

I'm going to look into the forum component and see if it can be tweaked.

The messages that you leave on someone's page are visible for all to see, but do not show up in the forum. Each person can delete or save the messages on their own page.

I'm going to have the entire old forum archived soon, but I havve to do a lot of work to make that happen. Let's starting filling out this forum area. We can copy some threads in from the old forum and/or start new discussions here.
