Now I'm trying to calm down.. my monmey and my nmental sanity are at stake!!
I read your profile = looks like you had to be really patient for your first (8!) lava lamps! Me too!

Yep! The Big Lebowski is one of my favourites of all time! But...
Does he have to use so many cuss words (!!)?

If mine i would use the mini pump filter . But before you do one with a vintage lamp practice on a cheap lamp to know how it is the be used safer this way.
This will allow the fine wax in the liquid to settle down. If it is really bad after 3 days of running it i will let it sit for a month. After that if it is still really cloudy i will then filter the vase . Sometimes i will only
filter out half and restart the flow again. Only if it is sooo bad will i do a full refilter.
have yet to be made.
If you're lucky you can pick up a vintage one at a car boot sale (like a garage sale). For new Mathmos stuff there are only a few outlets here in London although you can purchase their products on-line of course.

Jerome
I have 10 now, but I would have more if my cash flow allowed it!
