I naturally gave them some astros and fluidiums as gifts, i was wondering what would be the best solution to make them easy to use when they get them back home.

Various proposals>
Get a step up transformer from 120ish volts to british 240v and give them some spare astro bulbs. Maybe not a good idea cos what will they do when they run out of uk astro bulbs?

Or can they get bulbs easily for the british astros in canada cos they use a small screw fitting? Then i will just give them a 3 pin to 2 pin converter, so they plug it in into a Canadian wall socket.

I am wondering what you do with your collection? I hope you have been very well and as always i wish you the very best,

I was on ebay usa and i was wondering if you saw those really cool awesome lava lite adverts that were drawn by hand - one of them was of the continental but the other was of the royal series and the wall mounted versions - i have placed the ebay pictures on hippielight but i would love to see a scan of them if you won them - they are so very beautiful and remind me of how i used to draw with magic marker pens, the red of the lava being the only colour really makes them stand out, they are so very awesome.

congrats on the wall mounted, it is a wonderful lamp, you have to show it when it gets there!
