About Me:: Well, I do karate and am just now starting a course in reflexology.
I love reading, hard sci-fi mainly by Stephen Baxter.

About Your First Lava Lamp:: I got a really crappy one a few years ago, which was really dissapointing!
I'm now trying to get all the Mathmos 'Jet's which have the clear liquid with the matching wax and base combinations. I have a yellow one, but got a green one today which has a problem, thats why i'm here!
I've got most of the Jets I want now, recently got an old Telstar.... next mission... LUNAR! :)

I just tried out those colour coating I once wrote about on my metallics, and they look so much cooler with the matching coloured bulbs! I think you should definitely try them on your green glitterball and especially on your white lunar vase!!
On my white astro they also look very nice, but it doesn't come out that good on the pics. You can guess it on the astro family pic you comentet lately.

You are also right that I will get some that are appropriate for me when the time comes. At least I won (by the skin of my teeth) a silver glitterball today. Thanks for being so kind as to NOT bid on my Florences. But they are up to $152.50 now and will soon probably go out of my price range (there are 11 bids). I would assume that most of these are OG'ers too! The thing is - that I really do have that strange power. Wherever I work, people are always very frightened of me because they've seen one too many "coincidences". I really don't do anything, I just get mad at someone and boom - they have a bad car accident, etc. I don't actually try to do anything. I just get mad at them. It actually spooks me out also. I am also super psychic. I guess I am spooky all around.
But, I do appreciate you not bidding. It seems like maybe you're the only one! Thanks. It's very decent of you.
