I'm sure you already know, but just in case:

do not use frosted bulbs for LJ lamps.

Why?

Well, if you have a frosted bulb, try a clear one, you will understand why :-)

Hi there,

I just got a new lamp with a very clean bottle, except there is one flake stuck on the side of the bottle.

I tried to shake it without results.

Any tip?

Thanks

As we all know, Living jewel glitter flakes have a tendency to go clear after a long while and excessive usage. I am wondering what would be a suitable replacement to get that 'living jewel' look? Normal glitter just doesn't compare.

Any ideas?
