Small lava plasma. Has on/off settings. About the size of a 20oz globe. Barely ever used, all original packaging. $12

Lava Lightning, original box missing the top flaps. This is the tri-color version, about the size of a 32oz globe. On/off. $15

Lava Lightning 2 Green, original box. These are harder to find. Has a variable "speed" control. $25

Lava Lightning 2 Blue, original box. These are harder to find. Has a variable "speed" control. $25

With Design In Mind 6 inch plasma ball in black acrylic case. This is a fairly close copy of the original plasma by Larry Albright (I have one of those too, not for sale, which I can provide as a comparison). The lamp has a variable intensity on/off switch and a sound sensitivity switch. The sound sensitivity can be turned off so it just runs continuously. Can't budge on this one at $100 bit it is a VERY pretty lamp in very nice condition.

Hey guys,
I have my blue/ blue Mathmos flowing right now. The wax looks purple, why is this? Can someone shed light on why this happens? The wax looks blue when it is cool but when it's running it looks purple. As with all the Mathmos lamps, I have rewired it according to Brad's instructional. I hope to read from you soon, thanks!

Hey Gooheads,

So I decided to sell my blue/white grande. These are super rare, and if I remember the story correctly Lava Lite (back in the pre-china days) was doing a custom job for a company and the company backed out on it and LL was stuck with like 110 or 120 of these color combos. I dont recall the exact number but I do know that they are rarely found. The base and cap I painted black, the flow is excellent. This is the only picture I have at the moment (will take more on…

Wonder if anyone has thought about this before... this is what got me started on this.

Some lamp combos are just plain dark. it becomes very obvious when you have one sitting next to another brighter lamp.

Case in point. I have a 17" geometric near a 52 oz blue/white. The Geometric just pops out crystal clear. I know its a clear fluid inside a tinted glass bottle. The blue white just looks plain ole dingy sitting next to it.

Huge difference. I can hold a flashlight shining into the blue white and it brightens up nicely, but its not a practical solution for enjoyment.

i don't know if its practical to maybe paint the inside of the base where the bulb is with some chrome paint to help reflect light into the bottle. Has anyone tried this type of thing before?

Pic to put it better perspective. the blue whites appear brighter in the photo than in real life. the others in the shot are pink/whites. plenty bright.
