Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

After extensive testing,  I'm now offering many NEW glitter colors in clear fast liquid.  They are gorgeous!  Here are a few of the options.  I'll post them all below in this discussion and in my videos.

I've also developed replacement slow glitter formulas for the Florence Art, Heat Tapes, Mastercrafters, and Crestworth glitter lamps of the 60s and 70s.  The liquid in these formulas is non-flammable, non-combustible, and much less toxic than the fast, solvent-based liquid.

To simplify things, both fast and slow glitter liquid are now available at the same prices.  Here are some FAQs on the glitter liquid.

I fill all orders on a first come, first served basis.  I do all of the work by hand and take care to ensure quality.  Please allow 2-3 weeks from payment for delivery.

So glad you like it, Ryan.  Thanks for the order.

I guess a 40w bulb was too hot for my 52oz. The flow was basically done after 3 hours, with just a few squares floating around. I did let it cool overnight, but 3 hours was still the max. I found a 25 watt bulb that fit my premier base and it's been on since last night, still looking great. It doesn't give as much light bouncing on the walls, but I would rather get the longer flow. Maybe I could try a dimmer with the 40w bulb? I guess I should have known it was too hot since it only took like 5-10 minutes to get fully going, and the directions said it takes 30-45.:)

Thanks for the feedback, Ryan.  I've been tweaking the formula on the 52oz and larger lamps.  I'm glad the 25w bulb works, and yes a dimmer could be used to balance light and flow.

I'm curious would the small multicolor glitter look good in red or does the multicolor look better in something like clear or yellow? Maybe the silver pops more in red? I know the large squares would look fab in red, just thinking of trying something different.

Ryan -  I'm not sure how the small multicolor will look in red.  I know it looks great in clear, but I've never tried it in red or yellow.  I'll give it a try and post a picture or video.

Thanks Kirk. I thought that was multicolor in yellow on page 15, but maybe that was something else.

That's the .040" silver holographic hexagonal glitter in yellow fast liquid. The holographic properties of the glitter flash the colors of the rainbow and make it look like its multicolor. Do you like? That's Brad's amazing photograhy.

So is the .040" silver holographic what you call "large" ?

No, I call that small silver hexagonal holographic glitter. Say that fast!

What size is this in Ryan's pic ?

I really like

that looks great.  any chance you could post some more photos of this glitter?  i've been searching for a 30WG globe, and this looks just like it.

This multi colored glitter is unreal.
My silver Century needed a breath of fresh air. This lamp was pushed off the cliff and then lifted up by eagles.
This is the most bad assed lamp that I have seen.
Kirk... The Waldo Effect NAILED it. The colors are perfect.
I could not be more happy.
Good luck!
This lamp is f'ing bad.

It's the large, square silver holographic -- .250".

I also have silver hexagonal (non-holographic) in the same .250" size.  I like it even better, because it flashes just like the small, .040" hexagonal glitter, but it's larger. :>) Think big Wizard.

I'd be happy to send you enough of each if you want to swap out the glitter in one of your other globes.
