<p>My lava lamp came from "Easylight" - deutschland. I dont know its age but when i got it it came very foggy. I am very happy to see that it is working only with distilled water.</p>
<p>When starts to get hot the wax goes to the top where solidifies until it melts.</p>

<p>I think someone on here mentioned the recipe changed for grandes? My most recent 52oz Schylling lamp revamp worked with distilled water and just a little surf, so it might be making its way down the line. Makes things much easier for those of us trying to salvage a mediocre product!</p>
