Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hi all, I'm in the US, and am trying to get some Mathmos lamps. Has anyone tried UKAddress.com? It seems like it is reasonably priced, and exactly what I'm looking for. Thoughts?

Cheers!

I'm excited!
My mirror polished astro has a golf ball bulb. The sticker inside states to use that type, too. I'm happy with the performance and the $3.86 240v replacements. Going by what I'd read on their website, I was expecting a halogen reflector type. Confused on different types of Astros requiring different bulb styles.
Congrats on the score Brian! Can't wait to see this new astro in action!!

Just wanted to update.  My blue/yellow Fluidium left Forward2me on Wednesday and it was delivered to me in Austin on Friday.  Excellent and FAST service!

It's warming up now...

DHL has mine now, but it's still in the UK.

I thought DHL was done, in Iowa there is no

DHL.  It gets routed to UPS/USPS.....

Kirk:  Photos?

photos?

My lamps/bottles arrived today and are warming up !

They came in no frills plain cardboard boxes, not

like the older mathmos with all the graphics.

Kirk - that is fantastic!  The clarity of the liquid/flow of the wax, from what I can see in the photos - blows away ANY LavaLite lamp I've ever seen.  Absolutely no comparison.  I will definitely pay the premium to buy from Mathmos.  Is this fluidium lamp wired for US, or UK?  I'm also wondering if the Mathmos Heritage bottles will fit on the LavaLite Heritage bases.

Another nice thing to look at is the globe is nice!!!  It doesn't have all those starry occlusions, scratches and what nots that the LL globes have had of late.....God, what I wouldn't do to find some decent globes!!!!  aaahh, that didn't sound right......

temp issues, but blue is flowing, video to come.

I love this blue Fluidium!

Still UK wiring, but will have it rewired for USA by the weekend.  Polar vortex had us scrambling today to get the plants in the greenhouse.  I have a 50th Anniversary Heritage Mathmos lamp, but I don't have a USA Heritage base -- so I'm not sure about that.
