Come on!
By the way, they're doing something cool for their 50th, but you won't be able to buy it:

Thanks for the link.
Mathmos is definitively a lousy company.
They can't even build what they claim to.
They're bragging about the biggest lavalamp in the world: 200l, when it is actually 3X 66,66l lamps (still big)
So lame!
You know what, I'm gonna take all my Cosmos lamps and use some duct tape to join them together=
Et Voila! the biggest Crestworsth Cosmos lamp in the world :-)
If you want something a bit different, my friend has a super rare signed/authenticated Astro lamp (see pic below). He is the grandson of Edward Craven Walker. If anybody is interested in the Lamp feel free to send me an offer and I will be glad to pass it on to my friend. He told me the lamp is currently somewhere in his loft collecting dust!!
I was genuinely shocked when I first saw it. As someone who has been fascinated by lava lamps for 25+ years I was planning a trip down to the big smoke to check this one out, now I'm not so sure........I guess its still pretty cool

the wax looks terrible! my thoughts are that the wax is new as it looks like MT wax during the first run. this company has soo much potential yet they seem just fine with producing lava lamps in an iterative fashion (e.g. changing base and wax color combinations but not really innovating).

The wax does look terrible! They should have waited until the lamp was flowing before the interview. And wow, that was a bad "interview" as well. Not good all around. Too bad.
Yeah, she's not very polished in front of the camera and the lamp is barely flowing, not good

This is not wax, this is oil, like in the Mathmos Monster.
By the way, one of the lamp is a little cloudy...
And can they even make a claim as to this being the "world's largest lava lamp"? In looking through Magma Tower's gallery I am seeing installations that appear to be much bigger. Like this one: Lava Lounge or this one Bar Centerpiece.
