I personally would rescue that puppy if you foresee prolonged periods of sub-freezing temps. Check to see how well your cabin's insulation is working as well - take the room temperature and compare it to the outdoor temperature. Obviously, the frigid temps will have a cumulative effect, so how you would account for that I don't know.</p>

<p>The fluid in them is know to evaporate over time so I would imagine that kind of heat is not real good for it. I would not take that chance but thats just my opinion.</p>
