Something Interesting About Me:: I started OG in '97 to share information about lava lamps and meet others that share my passion for these funky creations. I'm married and a father of 2. We run a Silver Century in our house all the time, and I bring other lamps out from the boxes from time to time (but I'm scared of my kids sticky fingers!)
Where I Live:: Beautiful Albuquerque
My First Lava Lamp was:: It wasn't really mine, but my older brother got a big Century (red/yellow) from some chicks that digged him in high school - this was like '83 or something - Anyway, I kinda took it over. I have no idea where that lamp is now, I bet my brother sold it in an antique/ collectable booth he runs.

Many problems. First - could not even find this comment from the site directly, but had to go to my email account where there was a link. Second, can't tell which threads that I have read the latest post. The former system highlighted the threads with posts which were posted after I had read the thread; so I knew where to look for what I haven't read. Third, when I tried to find this comment on the site I coulnd't find it listed. Twice it started up something which caused my computer to give me error messages about video slowing down my computer. Other problems too. I don't even know if this is public or private message.

Just now when I tried to post this, my computer slowed to a turtles pace. I just tried to post this message a minute ago and it got erased. I received an error message "A script in this movie is causing Macromedia Flash Player 7 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?

Hey Mark thanks for the welcome and yes Holdenm is my game, I do alright we plat 20 people every second weekend. In the picture I actually built this table and I own my own company building custom poker tables.

Mark, lol, bear with me. But I have just not got things quite right yet.
I am in the OGmod group twice.
I am in there with my wrong profile which is Will and have just now joined with my correct profile which is W_J.

If you take one of the profiles out of the Modgroup, take out Will. I want to be Mod using my old account that way I haven't lost my stuff from the old forum.

I just thought I'd let ya know.
I know what you're probably saying, "Oh, Will, will, will. WHAT are you doing???" LOL

Hi Mark! Thanks for the welcome!! I have 2 more questions! Where can I download a free lava lamp screensaver (without having to join a site or give lots of info)? Just curious! Thanks! Also, I remember a vintage lava lamp that had a gold/brass? base with little holes all over it. Do you know what that style was called? Any chance of finding one on EBay or somewhere else? Thanks!!!

Yes this is a great site. I cant wait to get my new GRANDE Red Wax with Purple Liquid. I just hope is dose not come all cloudy. Have you had problems like getting Lava Lamps cloudy in shipping. This hapend to me about 3 years ago. Well talk latter got to go to work.

I mainly use Internet Explorer 6.0.

My internet provider is Netscape Connect.

Even my MSN explorer crashes.

I use IE. After the reformat, we put kapersky on here instead of norton. Could that have something to do with it?
