Haven't collected much lava lately. I'm in the process of aquiring some bits from a really rare lamp though (hint- it's a wall mount). I should have enough parts to make a complete lamp. I'll post some pictures later. Cheers!
Hey Fog, Nice Lamps and like you I'm slowly getting my lamps together, but my daughter has a battery one and you shake it and it changes colors; it will work for now! Have a super day and stay "Mellow"
Okay. The old man told me to take any rug in the house. I could be just sitting at home with pee stains on my rug. Hey, careful, man, there's a beverage here! Mind if I do a J?
In deference to you sir and your seniority on this forum I changed my identity to medicated goo. Since you already were the dude here (I did not think to check intially) I thought it best I melt into the magma and out of respect give you your dudedom back abiding as usual.....

hi there. you are the reason i have been joining the club here. i saw some discussion of yours regarding french bubblelamps and that pic of those numerous beautifil bubblelamps on thst table ! i wanna have them all ! :)
i also started collecting when i lived in paris 10 years ago, heaven to check ou their brocantes and fleemarkets back then. i specialise in vintage glitterlamps and bubblelamps as i have always called them - the ones made of glass. is there someone who knows about those glass ones so i can understand more about them - any pics or specific sites you know about!?
thanks for your help, best wishes - G
heyo. thanks for ur reply. u are right, the different designs seem endless.
i was shocked when i saw the pictorial !!! but how many were produced back then???
hundreds or even thousands? the lavaboilers never pop up in stylish french movies for
example, they must have been quite extraordinary and weird even then, no!? do you
think they took vast amounts of lsd when they came up with the principles AND designs of those ones?
best wishes - G
I ordered a new replacement bottle last week at Mathmos UK. It´s no a refill bottle!!! This bottle was very expensive (155€) I´m so happy that Mathmos produce custom made bottles.

Thanks for the Mathmos package! Did I ever pay you for it? I can't remember!
Got my eye on a special little lamp. I'll let you know if I score it.
