My First Lava Lamp was:
I bought my first lava lamp in 2000. It was a Mathmos Telstar Millenium 2000 which I remember paying £19.95 for. In 2004 I sold it on eBay little realising that this lamp was a limited and most sought after edition......it sold for £110.00 ! Seven years on, i've become interested in lava lamps again in a big way after they appear to be back in fashion. I'm concentrating my collection on Mathmos lamps and have made sure that the first lamp to go in my collection will a Millenium Telstar 2000. I hope to collect a wide range of lamps from old Crestworth to the late 90's and early 2000.
Hi Pete, I can thank the bad weather for getting this, I was originally going to Malvern to the flea and collectors fair. But the rain put us off so stayed a home and was just looking on Ebay when I saw this. I normally ask the questions about marks/scratches and the like but have lost items waiting for replies, so jumped in on this one hoping that when it comes it will be as good has the seller says. I had been watching and biding on the same item with no luck prior to winning this.
