Thats good, glad it worked...what type/make filter did you use ? Look forward to the pic.

No improvement on mine, so might try filtering.

Waggs...your old Crestworth looks similar to mine...snakey and trippy drippy. This is why I really dont want to mess with it for fear of spoiling the flow.

Erin...do it ! you know you really want to :)

Waggs, you're the only one that thinks I should dye it! LOL

Arne...Happy Birthday and thanks for the advice...gonna keep cycling it for another 6 weeks or so...will let you know how it turns out.

Tim...Don't think I will filter it in case it spoils the flow, as you say its so old I can live with the cloudiness. Good luck with the photo comp.

Erin and Jonas...Thanks I love the colour/color...potado/potarto....lol.

This is the color combo I wanted to recreate with my Grande Gookit, but too many people said they'd be mad if I dyed the water green. ;) I think it's a great color combo!

I also heard though is that the old cresties run on just distilled water + surfactant

that wouldent surprise me

i dont know how well it will clear up just by cycling it - could end up being a filtering job

its a verry nice lamp though - its in good condition considering its age

the flow looks great....if you succeed cyclying a mathmos/crestworth, please do tell...I heard they dont show effects on that procedure and have 2 70's vases myself who would need a clearup. what I also heard though is that the old cresties run on just distilled water + surfactant....didnt try it, but a former buddy did,
