Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Here's the globe in a non-flowing state. The red wax is very vibrant and has a coral tint to it. As you can see, the liquid is messed up!

Oh dear, I sure hope they told him that before they sold it to him, Erin!   It is a lovely lamp though.

That one wasn't legit (Mike's green/red) - someone later in the thread said they had dyed it before selling it to Mike.

Wasn't that a pic of one Mike had on the first page of the link you posted below?

I'd love to see what an original one looked like intact. There's no much evidence of this color combo... anywhere.

Wow, great job, I think it looks great!   Much better than it did, and I really like that color combo!

Yes, I fixed it (mostly). Check out the last page of the link I posted below! ;)

That wax is a gorgeous color, Erin, but the rest........OUCH!!!    Did you ever do anything to it?

I have the original box and it had a sticker on it - model 101 - green/red. In a certain light, you could actually see the green tint to it (hard to believe from this photo though). The green/red version is very very rare and was only made briefly.
