MileHigh - I'll use an new, solvent resistant plug and then epoxy the metal lid to the glass lip.  This method works well with the Grande globes, and it should be fine for the Colossus, too.

You must have taken it easy last night as this would not be at all pleasant hung over.    What an epic adventure this should be.

If I could make one suggestion... create a blog and document/photo/inject with humor as much as you can.  I would certainly love to follow your progress and I sense I am not alone in that regard.  This project is really what blogs are made for.

I am really looking forward to seeing a Colossus filled with your large fast moving large holographic glitter formula -  It should be awesome!

How do you plan on achieving a tight enough re-seal of the Colossus lid?

I thought so, too!  This should be fun!  

And if all goes as planned, I have some new, very large glitter that I've been testing that should look incredible in ten gallons of fast liquid.
